KNOW YOUR RIGHTS | EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE

Voting is the most direct way for you to affect your government - don't let anyone deprive you of the precious right! Read through the list below and be award of your rights before you go to the polls, and use the information below if you encounter any harassment or intimidation.

--You can register or re-register at the polls on Election Day, so that you CAN vote.
--If records show that you have moved, you can re-register so you CAN vote.
--If you are disabled or cannot understand English, you may bring a friend to help you vote.
--If you are in line at the polling place before 8pm on Election Day, you CAN vote.
--On the morning of Election Day, you have the right to be absent from work in order to vote.
--If you have been convicted of a felony an have served your sentence, you CAN vote.

You can register or re-register at the polls on Election Day, so that you can vote.

If you have any problem, make it clear that you know your rights. You also can:

--Talk to the Voting Rights attorney at your polling place.
--Ask for the name of ther person who is denying you the vote and write it down.
--Ask to talk to a supervisor and lodge a complaint.
